The Art of Making · Crewe

Where machines
yield to hands.

In our Crewe factory, over 4,000 craftspeople bring each Bentley to life. No robot can replicate the judgment of a master craftsperson selecting the perfect hide, or the precision of a hand-stitching a diamond pattern into leather.

Hand-stitched leather

Each hide is hand-selected and stitched by craftspeople who spend years mastering a single technique.

Veneer marquetry

Real wood veneers are hand-matched and fitted with tolerances measured in fractions of a millimetre.

Diamond knurling

Every metal surface is precision-knurled by hand, a process unchanged since 1919.

Performance · W12 Engine
